I have not turned my back on this blog, but I have had to take time to take care of Sara and to plan our move. Due to health and health insurance reasons, we have to move to New Mexico. Las Cruces is our most likely destination and we will be moved by the end of November. Thanks for checking in.

Dear Chris, I had assumed that this was what was happening - but I am glad you let us know!! Is this the move as it was planned? or to a different place? I guess I had thought you had moved to the other place already … Health insurance is not right that we don’t have it in this country!! People shouldn’t have to be moving for those kind of reasons!! But lots of people do have to. Good luck!!

Thanks, Diane. This is a new move, actually. We moved into this beautiful place (www.birdhousebb.com) and then found out for sure that we cannot get the right health insurance here. Las Cruces feels right to us, but I’m driving over there this next week to look at places and get a feel for the city. I’ll keep you posted!
